The Ontario Creates IDM Fund Futures Program is a six-part online program that provides potential funding applicants (companies and individuals) with the skills required to fast-track their knowledge acquisition and enhance the competitiveness of their company when applying to the Ontario Creates Interactive Digital Media (IDM) Fund Concept Definition and Production programs. The curriculum focuses on application requirements and deliverables, in an effort to provide less-experienced applicants with the knowledge and resources necessary to submit a complete and well-crafted funding application. Teams must be prepared to have at least one member available to attend all six parts of this intensive program. Lauren Corber is an International Emmy-nominated producer and the founder/president of LoCo Motion Pictures. One of Canada’s leading digital content producers, Lauren has produced several series including International Emmy nominee, How to Buy a Baby. The series won a Canadian Screen Award for best Short Form Series and Best Comedy at the Indie Series Awards, Best Writing and Best Lead Performance at the International Academy of Web Television Awards and has been invited to screen at festivals worldwide. She also produced two seasons of the Canadian Screen Award-winning CBC comedy, My 90-Year-Old Roommate starring Paul Soles (Spider-Man) that has over 1 million views. She is a graduate of Brock University (Dramatic Arts) and a public servant for over 11 years which includes working on the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan Am Games.
